Overview
Science Tokyo offers the International Faculty Development Course (IFDC) to introduce expertise in clinical dentistry. This is a course on clinical dentistry, research and dental education, which provides opportunities to learn cutting edge procedures and techniques across a range of clinical disciplines. Contemporary knowledge and practical training in key clinical techniques from various disciplines are delivered by faculty staff with advanced/specialist clinical training who are active in publishing and presenting the latest research in their fields. Interactive group-work will allow you to engage with faculty staff, instructors and your peers enabling you to network and build new international links.
Pedagogy
Courses feature lectures, hands-on practical sessions and live observation of surgical procedures. Sessions are designed to simulate clinical procedures and scenarios in disciplines such as operative dentistry, implantology, periodontology, fixed and removable prosthodontics, and orthodontics.
