Science Tokyo International Faculty Development Course AY2024

Institute of Science Tokyo offers the International Faculty Development Course (IFDC) with the purpose of introducing expertise in clinical dental education.
This course for clinical, research and dental education offers you up-to-date dental clinical knowledge and cutting-edge techniques that are often publicized in journals or books. It also offers opportunities to engage in discussions with faculty staff, your peers and build networks.

GOALS OF THIS COURSE:
1. Gain new dental knowledge and new approaches for future treatments/research
2. Consider your clinical cases from a critical perspective
3. Develop skills for clinical procedures
CERTIFICATION:
A certificate of completion including hours of study and topics covered will be given to those who attend every assigned session.
REGISTRATION and COURSE FEES:
200,000JPY (Registration fee (50,000JPY) + Course fee (150,000JPY))
*For the following cases, only the course fee is required:
1) Institute of Science Tokyo/Tokyo Medical and Dental University graduates/students;
2) Previous IFDC/EECD certificate holders

Application

APPLICATION QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Educational Background/Research Experience: Only those who have a dental or medical license or are dental school graduates can join this course.
2. Health: Applicants must be in good mental and physical health.
3. Communication Ability: Applicants must have sufficient general knowledge of the subject matter and adequate communication skills in English so as to be able to participate in discussion.

APPLICATION DEADLINE:

Application must be filled out online. Numbers 2 and 3 below must be submitted to Science Tokyo, Global Education Division by e-mail (gecd.adm(@)tmd.ac.jp) and be received by November 29, 2024, Japan Standard Time.
