About us

Institute of Science Tokyo (Science Tokyo) was established on October 1, 2024, following the merger between Tokyo Medical and Dental University (TMDU) and Tokyo Institute of Technology (Tokyo Tech), with the mission of “Advancing science and human wellbeing to create value for and with society.”
Science Tokyo's vision is to cultivate professionals with knowledge and humanity, who may embark on a lifetime of service and advance the health, wellbeing and social welfare of people.
To keep professionals updated with the latest clinical techniques, research and education findings, we provide training in the form of lectures, hands-on practical sessions and "live" observation of surgical procedures.
This training is delivered in the form of short courses by faculty staff with advanced clinical training, who actively publish in international dental journals and present at international conferences.
